Power Over Creation and Other Miracles Overview
The miracles of Jesus and God were far more than displays of supernatural power—they revealed their divine authority over every aspect of creation. Jesus Himself not only performed acts of compassion, but exercised the authority of the Creator. Their mighty works were not only performed simply to inspire awe, but to testify that the One who created all things also rules over all things. As you read this section, notice that creation itself obeys Jesus without question. The forces of nature, the laws of the physical world, and even life and death submit to His command. Such authority belongs to God alone.
