Redeemed by His Blood

From the beginning, Scripture reveals that sin separates humanity from God and that we cannot restore that relationship through our own efforts. Yet God, in His great love and mercy, provided a way of redemption through Jesus Christ. His precious blood was shed as the perfect sacrifice for sin, accomplishing what no human effort could ever accomplish. Through His blood, we are forgiven, cleansed, and brought near to God. The redemption we have in Christ is not merely a promise of a better life—it is the priceless gift of reconciliation with our Creator.

God: Keep watch over yourselves and the entire flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.  (Acts 20:28)

Jesus: But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that have come, He went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made by hands and is not a part of this creation. He did not enter by the blood of goats and calves, but He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by His own blood, thus securing eternal redemption.  (Heb. 9:11)

you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life you inherited from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or spot.  (1 Peter 1:18-19)

if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.  (1 John 1:7)

from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and has released us from our sins by His blood,   (Rev. 1:5).

You were slain, and by Your blood You  purchased for God those from every tribe  and tongue and people and nation.  (Rev. 5:9)

We were once separated from God by sin, but through the blood of Jesus Christ, the price of our redemption has been paid. His sacrifice demonstrates both the holiness of God and the immeasurable depth of His love for us. We do not redeem ourselves; we are redeemed by Him. Because of His blood, we can receive forgiveness, stand before God cleansed, and have the hope of eternal life. Jesus is our Redeemer, and His finished work is the foundation of our salvation.
