Makes Intercession

Jesus not only gave His life for us, but He continues to care for us before the Father. Scripture reveals that He makes intercession for those who belong to Him. His work did not end at the cross; as our risen and living Savior, He stands as our Advocate and High Priest, continually interceding on our behalf. This beautiful truth assures us that we are never forgotten or left to face our struggles alone.

Holy Spirit: In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our  weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words. And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
(Rom. 8:26-27)

Jesus: Therefore He is able to save completely those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede for them.(Heb 7:25)

G‍od: Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil‘s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
(Eph. 6: 10-12)

Jesus: Yet He bore the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors.
(Isa. 53:12)

God: The LORD looked and was displeased that there was no justice. He saw that there was no man; He was amazed that there was no one to intercede. So His own arm brought salvation, and His own righteousness sustained Him. He put on righteousness like a breastplate, and the helmet of salvation on His head;
(Isa. 59:16-17) Jesus: Who is there to condemn us? For Christ Jesus, who died, and more than that was raised to life, is at the right hand of God—and He is interceding for us.
(Rom. 8:34)  

Jesus’ intercession is a powerful testimony of His enduring love for His people. He knows our weaknesses, understands our needs, and continually represents us before the Father. Because He lives forever, His priesthood and His intercession never cease. We can therefore approach God with confidence, knowing that our Savior is not only the One who redeemed us, but the One who continues to intercede for us.
